Emerald Fire Brigade (CFA)

Have you done a Fire Plan?
Why not?
The time is now to prepare !!!!

Emerald Fire Brigade was founded in 1941. In 2011, the Brigade celebrated 70 years.
Over the years, the Brigade has taken part in many campaign fires including Ash Wednesday Fires in 1983 and more recently the terrible Black Saturday Fires in 2009
In 2010 the Brigade moved into a brand new station.
The new Salvage vehicle has been delivered and is operational. Has already been out to callouts.

The Fire Brigade is entirely manned by volunteers who turn out anytime, day or night, to help protect the community of Emerald and respond to emergency calls.
The Brigade encourage any member of the community to come and visit the Fire Station on a Sunday morning at 10.00am. Meet some of the firefighters and have a chat about Bushfire Plans and Protecting your home.
Want to join the Brigade? Come and visit us at the Station again at 10.00am on a Sunday morning for a chat, training and the commitment required to become a volunteer member/firefighter.
